How Your Gift Helps HSM
Our ability to provide care to everyone, regardless of ability to pay, is made possible through generous support from our community.
How will my gift be used?
Your gift will help support the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House, our unique inpatient facility, which opened in August of 2007.
Your gift will assist us in providing 40 hours of training for each of our volunteers, twice the hours required by Medicare.
Your gift will support our ability to provide bereavement services to any adult in our community who has experienced the death of a loved one – whether or not their loved one received hospice services. Individuals may participate in our no cost bereavement support groups or receive one-on-one bereavement support.
Your gift will help fund HSM's two volunteer-based programs:
- The Caring Comfort Program is a volunteer based, non-clinical case management service for individuals with a life limiting illness who are not yet ready for hospice clinical care. We offer volunteer services which provide patient support and needed assistance to caregivers.
Will my gift really make a difference?
Absolutely. Support from our community is vital to our organization, and every gift counts regardless of size!
