Maine Community Foundation Grant
Hospice of Southern Maine recently received an $8,500 grant from the Hospice Fund of the Maine Community Foundation. This gift will support HSM’s third annual Outreach Conference in addition to the volunteer program that is so vital to the organization.
Maggie Callanan, author of Final Journeys and co-author of Final Gifts will speak at Hospice of Southern Maine’s third annual conference on November 8, 2012, at the Double Tree in South Portland. This generosity from the Maine Community Foundation will provide scholarships that support the attendance of various hospice organizations.
