Gosnell Memorial Hospice House
Hospice of Southern Maine is the only program in southern Maine with an inpatient hospice facility. The 18-bed Gosnell Memorial Hospice House was designed to meet the unique needs of patients with a life-limiting illness.The Gosnell Memorial Hospice House is not a hospital, nursing home or rehabilitation center. It is a comforting, homelike atmosphere where you and your loved ones can share time together.
- Our Services
- We provide professional nursing and medical care to manage pain and distressing symptoms that cannot be managed at home. If the clinical condition improves, the patient may be able to return home.
Accommodations for respite care may also be provided if a patient's caregiver is in need of a period of rest.

- Our patient's private suite becomes home with a kitchenette, a dining table for individually cooked meals and a sofa bed.
